After visiting the Parelli International Study Center in Ocala, Florida in March
2009, I decided to rework some new pages for my website. These pages will be
much more personal and here you will find things that really move me to improve
myself as a horseman and a person. I hope you enjoy the videos and books I
recommend. I also hope you check out the progressive thinkers I highlight here
as well. To grow yourself, you must step out of your comfort zone and reach for
greater possibilities.
Honza Bláha is a horseman who endeavors to link the
Natural Horsemanship together with the equestrian sport.
You can watch him at many shows all over Europe. He is
based at the Borová farm in South Bohemia in the Czech Republic where
his horses are boarded including his famous Gaston. Gaston is originally
a quite common warmblood horse, not higher than 150 cm. Despite of his
small size this horse posses a great heart and an unbroken spirit. Honza
and Gaston both have travelled throughout Europe as well as the USA.
They played this video for us at the Parelli Center. It's awesome!
Pat teaches us the 20% of our time should be spent on Principle, 80% on
Purpose. This next video demonstrates 'Purpose' to the highest degree - a
Mexican bullfight. Think about what your purpose is
for the principles you teach. The first video was one they showed us in
Florida, I have added a couple more:
Dressage Inspiration -
classical dressage is the foundation of all our
high level horse sports. There is much for us to learn from dressage excellence.
I hope you watch this with the open mind to see where it can truly help you!
Andreas Helgstrand - a rockstar of
a dressage rider!
Video of Edward Gal and Moorlands
Totilas at the Dutch Indoor Championships 2009 at Ermelo which
they won with a percentage of a stunning 82,92% More info at

I am a student of Parelli
Natural Horsemanship. Here are a few concepts to memorize and keep
in your mind every day:
what is savvy?
Savvy is knowing where to be, when to be, why to be and what to do
when you get there, at any given moment and in any situation with
a horse.
You know you do parelli when...
· You put the relationship with your horse first.
· You study in four savvys.
· You’re involved in never-ending self-improvement
Pat Parelli's 45 P's
Pat Parelli Proudly Presents his Provocative and Progressive
Programs and the proclamation that Prior and Proper Preparation
Prevents P-Poor Performance, Particularly if Polite and Passive
Persistence is Practiced in the proper position. This Perspective
takes Patience from Process to Product, from Principle to Purpose.
The Promise that Pat Plans to Prove is that Practice does not make
Perfect, only Perfect Practice makes Perfect and, isn’t it
Peculiar how these poor Prey animals Perceive People as predators
prior to practicing the Parelli Programs.
Kid Rock - Kid Rock many not
be politically correct but he is soo 'real' ... he sings songs that resonate
with me because I feel artists come in many shapes and sizes, whether they write
and sing moving songs, paint beautiful paintings or train and show lovely
horses, we all live the same life with the same feelings ....
