M.A.R.E.S. Event

M.A.R.E.S. is a horse event that showcases local horsepeople demonstrating what they do in addition to many crafts and fun stuff for the whole family! It is held in Marvin, NC each year at a lovely farm on Joe Kerr Rd. Although there was much rain, our enthusiam was never dampened and the skies were sunny and clear for our performance!

     Our demonstration was the BEST (I'm not biased :) ) in the whole event!!! Everyone was amazing! I was incredibly proud! All of you totally exceeded my expectations! They were bareback/bridleless and the crowd went wild over all their stunts! The Cupid Shuffle was to die for! I got sooo many compliments - Lauren really organized this dance into a really great event! We must have had over 20 participants! Our team was; Tommy, Charlotte, Jessica Moore, Avery Fisher, Kelli Sandel, Madison Woschkolup, Bekha Strunk and Amanda Lawton on horses and countless others led by Lauren on the ground! We had helpers for our riders and helpers to pass out dvds, brochures, etc. Helpers all got a free FPF t-shirt! Ben Moore and Chuck Strunk both videoed the event, Robin Woschkolup, Ben Moore and Susan Sandel took great photos!  I'm grateful for everything all of you did - Thank You!!!
